Job Description

Job Requirements

Sales Representative 

Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities 

  • Develop and maintain solid business relationships with all key customer decision- makers in assigned territory as well as open any new accounts

  • Build brand awareness and ensure strong sell- through/depletion of the brand both through various promotional programs.

  • Develop, implement and maintain a sales plan to execute and achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets within designated territory through excellent execution

  • Maximize market share in geographical territory in accounts to achieve revenue, profit and growth targets

  • Ensure volume, distribution, promotion, merchandising, training and public relations activities are effectively implemented and executed

  • Track and analyze volume, distribution performance, and the competitive landscape to develop strategies to achieve and overcome sales challenges

  • Provide customer service in a timely and effective manner.

 

Competencies & Expectations

  • Excellent Communication – your job will entail connecting with high-profile restaurants and bars and collaborating with them for strategic events and relationship-building outreach; we must be able to trust that you will be a great representative for the company

  • Hard Working – you’re not afraid of a 12-hour day and still manage to get twice as much done in it.

  • Resourcefulness – you can get more value with less and often know how to come up with creative solutions to increase efficiency and output without decreasing quality

  • Great writing skills – At times, this will be a potential customer’s first impression of the brand and yourself.  First impressions are paramount and often make or break a deal.

  • Travel will happen- flexibility is a must.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but the number of years of professional experience you have isn’t as important to us as your ability to display strong interpersonal skills and an effective communication of brand products, vision, and purpose.
