Job Description

Seeking a reliable, high energy individual, to represent our world-class portfolio of European beers across the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. Candidate should reside in Denver, Phoenix, or Las Vegas, or be willing to relocate at candidate expense. Candidate should be able to travel up to 60% monthly. This position requires significant distributor management, in addition to persistent retail-level activity. Existing distributor relationships, and territory-specific experience are a plus. Candidate should be very comfortable, and have experience building presentations and presenting to distributor management teams, in order to develop, communicate and evaluate goals on a recurring basis. Candidate should also have strong beer knowledge, show personal interest in Belgian beer, and be able to educate both retail and wholesale partners, injecting value with every point.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Further develop, and maintain high-quality working relationships with distributor management teams, in order to achieve distribution and volume goals

  • Design, deliver and recap ABPs with distributor management, as well as schedule, and conduct quarterly business review meetings to follow up on goal achievement

     

  • Ensure diversity in brand exposure to market by filling brand-family gaps in the distribution network

     

  • Work with, educate and incentivize distributor sales teams to achieve shared goals

     

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts, both on and off-premise, and develop key account target lists with wholesaler support

     

  • Educate retailers and wait-staff on total portfolio, and support with POS placements

     

  • Identify and pursue new business, and efficiently communicate with wholesale partners to quickly and seamlessly fulfill commitments from retail

     

  • Be able to collect data (i.e. pricing, distribution) and report back to management in a timely manner

     

  • Organize and work promotional events (i.e. beer dinners, festivals, pint nights, demos, etc.) in both the on & off trade

     

  • Schedule a daily route, and develop monthly, quarterly and annual goals

     

  • Understand and recommend tactical activities, sponsorship opportunities and retail activation strategy per the opportunities unique to each market

     

  • Effectively, and proactively evaluate and manage distributor inventory levels

     


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and VIP iDig analytics

     

  • 1 to 2 years of field sales experience in the beer industry

     

  • Territory AND distributor management experience preferred

     

  • Ability to travel 50-60% of the time

     

  • Available to work evenings and weekends

     

  • Must have a reliable, insured vehicle, and a clean driving record
