This position is responsible for selling our brand to Independent Grocery and Convenience key accounts in the New York Metro area. The successful candidate will develop a sales relationship with each account and our distributor partners through quality customer service, increased sales volume and market shares and add customer value through analysis and category management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Achieve our sales and profit goals by motivating and directing our key account/distributor partners to attain sales volume and profit objectives on our products.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
Develop and maintain a key account list with key buyers/owners and managers to strategically drive our objectives.
Manage and plan trade spend investment.
Review quarterly account performance.
Identify market trends and opportunities and develop respective action plan.
Provide excellent service to assigned accounts creating and maintaining goodwill will with the customers.
- Participate and attend customer functions.
- Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of a minimum of 5 years’ experience or knowledge/skills, and/or ability required. We require a proven track record of successful performance managing fast moving consumer products goods preferably in the premium beverage category. Previous experience in DSD environment and holding a key account managerial position preferred. Excellent computer and presentation skills. Valid drivers license with an insured automobile.
