Job Description

Position Overview:

The Compliance Specialist will ensure the accuracy of labeling for Taub Family Brand products and ensure all packaging changes and labeling are in compliance with all internal and external quality and regulatory requirements.

 

Location: Port Washington, NY

 

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Project manage all aspects of the labeling process including analysis, submission and registration.

  • Foster close cooperative relationships with all functions in the company relative to labeling compliance including Marketing and Sales.

  • Able to interpret policy and procedure to maintain proper file compliance.

  • Provide support to the Legal Department as needed for miscellaneous projects.
Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ years of experience in the Regulatory Industry

  • Demonstrated success with project management

  • Solid working understanding of the state and federal alcohol regulatory code and familiarity with the three-tier system and tied house rules

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to interact within all levels of the organization both internal and external

  • Dedication to high quality record keeping

  • Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Excellent research skills

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high energy and team-oriented atmosphere

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft office

  • Wine knowledge a plus
