Job Description

Oversee and actively lead activation, sales and distribution of the craft & emerging spirit portfolio in designated market. Demonstrate superior market capabilities and relationships to maximize sales and growth of the portfolio. Possesses a passion and desire for the C&E spirits segment and instill a Culture of Craft.

 

Responsibilities:

Drive growth and execution of the craft & emerging spirits portfolio in the market

  • Develop key account and customer relationships in designated focus accounts
  • Actively pursue assigned category and brand distribution and targeting goals
  • Facilitate comprehensive staff training of category and brand knowledge base in accounts to support portfolio of brands
  • Build and execute effective C&E brand programs in key account base to drive sales and distribution
  • Outstanding organizational skills, marketing savvy, and tracking capabilities
  • Work closely with Beverage Dev. Team or outside groups to develop comprehensive cocktail programs in support of C&E brands
  • Lead best practices while sharing processes across the market

Act as an ambassador for craft & emerging supplier portfolios

  • Collaborate and work with suppliers to effectively activate and sell in the market
  • Support supplier focused kickoffs and events in the market
  • Lead designated supplier workwiths and market blitzes for successful growth of the brands
  • Demonstrate clear understanding and provide insightful feedback for supplier plans/goals and activities
  • Collaborate with suppliers to design and develop unique go to marketing strategies, POS and programs on a designated calendar

Facilitate the culture of craft & emerging brands portfolio within the BBG sales organization 

  • Collaborate with BBG sales & marketing teams for seamless activation and execution of portfolio strategies
  • Work with Regional Director of C&E spirits to regularly review alignment and account activities across the network 
  • Support and drive annual planning calendar for brand/category activations and tools 
  • Exemplify solid communication skills with the ability to clearly execute effective programs
  • Assist in the delivery of comprehensive internal education platform to include basic knowledge, history, and production etc.

 

Job Requirements

3+ years of industry experience with significant beverage alcohol background in the account and/or distribution tier. 

  • Superior knowledge of craft & emerging spirits industry, market dynamics and cocktail culture
  • Expert level knowledge of spirits categories, brands, production, history and market/industry trends

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Excellent selling skills with strong market relationships and local industry knowledge
  • Strong presentation capabilities and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Passion for the segment and portfolio with the ability to speak and train about the brands
  • Ability to write, execute, and develop craft & emerging spirit menus for accounts
  • Strong cocktail knowledge and understanding of basic cocktail menu development
  • Great personal accountability and self-motivation
  • Ability to develop trust and respect within the industry and among key decision makers
  • Strong MS Office Skills
