Beverage Account Manager Job Description

A Beverage Account Manager position requires a high-energy professional who has the experience and drive to increase sales and distribution for a beverage brand or portfolio.

The job calls for the manager to forge partnerships with existing and new accounts to boost a product’s visibility.

Account Manager Jobs require the beverage industry professional to be completely focused on product sales, including increasing the number of product lines at bars, restaurants, liquor, grocery, convenient stores and other retail accounts.

Other responsibilities for a Beverage Account Manager include:

  • Identifying major accounts that have not been penetrated and developing a strategy to begin business with them
  • Building displays and point of sale items to improve brand visibility, conditions and accounts
  • Ensuring that business at accounts grow, orders are placed and products are shipped
  • Holding product and education seminars, tastings and evening promotions with others who have beverage jobs, including wait staff
